Lighthouse Cinema opens in Newquay

Newquay’s Lighthouse Cinema, which opens its doors for the first time on Friday May 6th, has been a year in the making.

Boasting four digital projection screens, two of which are 3D, 600 seats and employing 24 local staff, WTW Cinemas have had their eye on the town for quite some time.

Newquay has been without a cinema for just over 15 years as Camelot, closed its doors for the last time back in 1995.

WTW are targeting their entertainment facilities at families visiting and living in the town.

Not to be exclusive in the community, Screen One has a unique elevated platform at the front which means it can be hired for entertainment and presentation purposes.
